Calyx Creative is a New York-based installation and environmental design studio led by creative director Shahira Wahba. With a background spanning fashion design, visual merchandising, branding, and large-scale fabrication, Wahba creates immersive environments where graphics, material, light, texture, and spatial form intersect. Rooted in pattern, repetition, and the natural world, Calyx transforms spaces into experiences that feel atmospheric, sculptural, and emotionally resonant.

Calyx has realized both permanent and site-specific works across North America for clients including Google, Netflix, Capital One, the Biden-Harris Administration, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and the National Park Service.

When she’s not on a boom lift, Shahira can usually be found wandering Prospect Park with her giant dog Chelsea, surfing at Rockaway, folding paper, or rewatching Seinfeld.
